There She Grows

lilah now sits at her highchair with us at the table once in awhile. she no longer hates it. but she still enjoys most of her meals in her bebepod on the kitchen counter while i stand and feed her. then mike and i eat our dinner on the couch in the den. its a bad habit!

the highchair at the table is great when all three of us sit down to enjoy our dinner together as a family, which is how it should be. however, she still pretty much has to eat first. if i try to feed her between taking bites of my own food, she throws a fit! this kid wants her food and she wants it now. as long as there is a plate of her food in plain view she will cry and whine if you don’t stick it into her mouth asap. she is quite the little marabunta.
