There She Grows

Nicholas Francisco, an online acquaintance who has posted on the same boards as me for over 5 years, has gone missing! on feb 13th he left work, after making plans with his 4 year old daughter to make valentines cookies when he got home. that was the last anyone has seen of him! the police have no leads; although his car has been found. it has provided no clues as to his whereabouts. no one has heard from him, there has been no activity on his phone or bank accounts. he is a husband and father of 2 young children; his wife is currently pregnant with their third.

Francisco is a nice guy, extremely talented at his job, helpful and friendly to everyone online, and seemingly the quintessential family man. He has always spoken so happily of his family and clearly they were his life. there is no chance that he has deliberately left them. I am worried about him right now, hoping he is alright. But even more, I feel an overwhelming empathy for his wife. I can’t stop thinking about how it would be for Lilah and me, if Mike just did not come home one day, and was never heard from again. The  worry i would feel – and if the worst should happen and he was never found… how destroyed my world would be. Her children are old enough to be looking for daddy. I have read some news reports that described how they are asking where he is, along with tearful appeals by his wife, saying that she can’t live her life without him. I can only wish her the best.
